New Software

I've come across a few useful webpages dealing with software:

• The freeware Registry Repair 2.7

• The freeware AutoRuns 9.13, for seeing and stopping what processes run automatically and slow down your startup and, I expect, foul up other programs. It's probably crud like that which makes Windows computers slow down as they get older.

• A page on how to use Haloscan to add incoming and outgoing trackbacks to Blogger blogging software.

• Two useful pages are How To: Determine what Services are running in Windows XP and the University of Glasgow's Windows XP Processes , which describes common processes.
